We collect none. Screenjar does not gather personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, contacts, location, or device identifiers. The titles, ratings, reviews and diary entries you create are stored solely on your device.
All processing — insights, charts, streaks, search and export — happens on-device. Your content is used only to power the features you interact with, and never transmitted to us or anyone else.
We share nothing, because we hold nothing. If you choose to use the Export or Share feature, you — and only you — decide where that file goes via your device's share sheet.
Your library and viewing diary are stored in an AES-256 encrypted local database (Hive), and app settings use the platform's secure storage. Because data never leaves the device, there is no server to breach.
Your data is retained on your device until you delete it. You can remove everything at any time via Settings → Clear all data, or by uninstalling the app.
Screenjar has no sign-up, no login and no user profiles. You can use every feature without providing any identity.
Screenjar does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. As no personal information is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages in this respect.
Since your data lives only on your device, you have full control at all times. You can view, edit, export or permanently delete your data directly within the app — no request to us is required.
Screenjar integrates no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics providers or cloud back-ends. There are no external trackers of any kind.
The app requests a single permission: INTERNET. It is used only to load this privacy policy page inside the app's built-in viewer. No other permission (camera, location, storage, contacts, notifications) is requested.
Consistent with our Google Play Data Safety declaration: Screenjar collects no data and shares no data. Data is encrypted on-device and users can request deletion by clearing app data.
